André René Roussimoff first came to the attention of the public's eye as a freak of nature in the world of professional wrestling. While the Frenchman he was busy preparing for his role as Fezzik in the 1987 film, The Princess Bride, RISD artist Shepard Fairey was busy slapping Andre the Giant Has a Posse stickers on bathroom walls throughout the Northeast hardcore punk scene.
