TENNESSEE WILLIAMS (1911 – 1983)
American playwright whose work has provided an endless supply of scripts to Broadway and community theatre: A Streetcar Named Desire, The Rose Tattoo and Baby Doll. Many of his plays earned Oscars as they found their way to the big screen.
