BLIND LEMON JEFFERSON (1893 – 1929)
Deep Ellum street musician and Blues great of the 1920s. He was friends with Lead Belly and T-Bone Walker and other greats from the era. His trips to Chicago land him a deal with Paramount Records where he joins Ma Rainey. He is best remembered for his See That My Grave Is Kept Clean.
