Hellbent on pulling the ultimate Icarus maneuver, Hank's career never got quite close enough to the sun to pull it off. He may have been a bonafide rock star in his homeland of Norway but the rocket poised for international glory imploded on the launch pad with his debilitating rock star lifestyle. His persona was flamboyant, over-the-top and politically incorrect with a wink and a nod to the likes of Alice Cooper, David Bowie and other caricatures of rock lore. His band Turbonegro carried on without him when he found solace in the Eighth Dynamic and a model wife. He left behind a treasure trove of priceless punk artifacts.
