The husband-wife team of Lux Interior and Poison Ivy Rorschach migrated from the left coast to the New York Bowery at the onset of the CBGB's punk epidemic. They regurgitated their strict diet of 1950s kitsch and 1960s garage rock and gave birth to the howling reverb-drenched, slapback-happy genre of psychobilly.
