Director, actor and writer Buck Henry adapted the screen play for Mrs. Robinson's The Graduate for which he received an Oscar nomination. He is half the brains behind the cold war TV satire Get Smart. His acting career features bit parts in The Man Who Fell to Earth, Eating Raoul and Catch-22. (which he also co-wrote). If none of this rings a bell, you'll recognize him from his recurring characters on Saturday Night Live.
